I estimate Cammie's age as about 9. She was found wandering alone in the
freezing cold in Tennessee. Double Dog Rescue provided Veterinary care,
screening & vaccinations down there and she arrived in CT to be fostered at
Camp Merilegs on Feb. 13,2010.
She weighs in at about 30 lbs and is not overweight. That means she's tall for
a Cocker but still a nice, manageable size. The "normal"/ideal weight for a
female is 20-24 lbs. She is house trained, obeys sit & stay & come commands.
She's excellent with other dogs & cats. Has a non-threatening, easy-going,
glass-half-full demeanor around other animals. Is good in the bath & on the
grooming table. Well-mannered& quiet in the car. Doesn't bark, (which is
really saying something when she stays silent while all the Camp Merilegs
dogs are barking.)
Cammie will never win Best In Show at Westminster, but she certainly has
the super Cocker temperament! She is happy and sweet and gentle and
playful without being pesky; loves to be massaged and wants only to be
with her person. Having said that, she's not too needy. Happy to be in her
bed when it's time for a nap/bedtime or you just need to attend to
something else. A PERFECT Cocker to be your new companion.
When I say this girl is PERFECT I am not exaggerating!
Cammie's up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, negative
fecal/no worms. Ears & eyes OK. Teeth will be cleaned soon. While in
Tennessee she had 2 benign tumors removed from her side and chest.

Rosenberg Cocker Still Needs a Forever Home
|
Maggie loves the feel of grass under her feet as
she sometimes goes by the name, Ladybug. At the
time she was rescued, Maggie had a large tumor on
her back. The vets at the SPCA managed to close it
and she appears to have recovered. Maggie's also
had eye issues, but thanks to good nutrition and
being in a healthy environment her eyes look healthy
again. heart murmur that clearly does not affect her
ability who needs a very special home.

CAMMIE Update! Posted February 22, 2010
Cammie has discovered the Joys of Squeakers & Bubbles
& TurboSlide! She zoomed down TurboSlide all on her
own yesterday. Very brave girl! (Unfortunately I didn't
get it with the camera.) She absolutely loves Georgie's
Squeakers and he graciously shares them with her. And
today she went bonkers for Bubbles. Chased & jumped
for them, exhibiting a really athletic skill.
Cammie is such a happy girl. Enjoying Life to the fullest.
