For those who know me & my dogs, Camp Merilegs is
a synonym for a bunch of spoiled-rotten dogs who get
very dirty while having tons of fun. It's not the "fun"
part that gives my friends palpitaions; it's the "dirty"
part. Well, I guess dirty dogs don't bother me. In fact, if
a dog is covered in mud from digging & swimming &
running around, then that dog must be happy. And that
warms my heart.
My philosophy regarding dogs is that they need to
be dogs. This means doing the things that dogs love,
including getting dirty. This does pose problems when
trying to maintain "show-coat" & necessitates that
"Mom" change the furniture coverings every day.
...Oh well. Small price to pay.
